Former NFL player and York Catholic (football, basketball, track) & Shippensburg (football) graduate Ron Johnson shares his years of sports performance and conditioning knowledge with dedicated student-athletes as our Director of Performance. Ron has trained and managed with some of the top sports performance facilities and coaches around Philadelphia and Baltimore, and was well coached in the weight room throughout college and professional football. Ron has worked with some of the area’s best youth and collegiate athletes for several years now, and is the Owner/Director of Ron’s Rising Star’s Football Camp every summer at Shippensburg University.
Jeanean S., Director of Adult Performance
Jeanean has been involved in the fitness industry for over 20 years. She was a Certified Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor, but took a brief 3 year hiatus from training as the owner of a successful Nutbutter manufacturing business. Now she is back in the fitness industry full time and in charge of our S3 Adult Performance Training program. Jeanean has a passion for encouraging adults to get out of their comfort zones and push past the things they thought they couldn't do. She makes modifications available for those that may need them.
Abby C., Director of Online Training
Abby has been involved with S3 Performance Training since the beginning. She spent two years away coaching collegiate lacrosse while obtaining her MBA. Abby is a Certified Personal Trainer and has a lot of experience in the sports and fitness world. She played four years of college lacrosse which made her passion for fitness and nutrition grow. Abby has a passion for helping people ditch their restrictive diets and learn how to live a balanced, healthy lifestyle while reaching their fitness goals. She coaches clients 100% online using an elite training platform.
Nick B., CSCS Performance Coach
Nick is a graduate of Dulaney High School and Randolph-Macon College where he played lacrosse. Nick now works with the York Catholic lacrosse team as an assistant coach and face off specialist coach. Currently, Nick is obtaining his Master's degree in Exercise Science from California University of Pennsylvania. Nick is looking to use his training and experience to help all athletes compete at their highest level!
Mike C., Performance Coach
Mike is a graduate of Cumberland Valley High School and Bloomsburg University, where he played football for the Huskies. Coach Cez is a nationally certified Fitness Trainer and Strength & Conditioning Coach. He earned his certifications through International Sports Science Association (ISSA) and International Youth Conditioning Association (IYCA). Coach Cez was the strength coach at Cumberland Valley HS the past 3 years and is now the Defensive Coordinator/Strength Coach at Central York HS. Mike’s passion for fitness comes from wanting to help others succeed on and off the field. Not only does Mike specialize in sports performance training, he also has in-depth knowledge of weight loss and nutrition.
Billy Y., Performance Coach
Billy is a graduate of Loyola Blakefield and Bloomsburg University, where he obtained his Exercise Science Degree. Billy was a former Performance Director with another sports performance company and has vast experience working with student-athletes in middle school, high school, and college. Billy currently serves as the S3 Head Strength & Conditioning Coach at Red Lion Area School District, working with over 500 student-athletes from 7th through 12th grade. Billy is passionate about all sports, and has a personal athletic background in baseball.
Chase J., Performance Coach
Chase is a graduate of West York High school where he was a two time PIAA state champion with the Bulldogs in baseball. Chase went on to attend East Stroudsburg University where he continued his baseball career. Chase majored in Exercise Science while at East Stroudsburg, and his currently completing his personal training certification. Chase specializes in developing his client’s overall strength in order to best perform on their respective playing surfaces.
Ryan H., Performance Coach
Ryan is a graduate of Pine Grove Area High School where he was a member of the 100-win club for the wrestling team and was also a First Team All-State selection at running back for football. He then went on to attend Lebanon Valley College where he completed a bachelor’s degree in Biology with a minor in Psychology, which included coursework involving anatomy, physiology, and nutrition. Currently, Ryan competes in power-lifting and has achieved professional status for totaling at least 1300 pounds while competing in the 165 pound weight class. Ryan’s training specialties include strength development, nutrition, and body weight management.
Jen N., Performance Coach
Jen is a graduate of Red Lion Area Senior High School. It was during her high school years when Jen found her passion for fitness and decided to pursue it as a career. She studied Exercise Science at Coastal Carolina University and got her ISSA personal training certification during the fall of 2020. She loves helping kids and young adults reach their fitness goals while having fun at the same time!
Steph S., APT Coach
After making a lifestyle change in 2015 and losing 60lbs, Stephanie fell in love with fitness and
has been working in the fitness industry for 5 years now, being a Group Fitness Manager for the last 4 years. She has worked in performance training with adults, children, large groups, small groups and one on one. She has achieved the title of Advanced Instructor in several programs in group fitness, and she has even competed in body building competitions as a bikini competitor. Stephanie loves growing her knowledge of fitness by attending workshops, seminars and training with other coaches. She has been through it all on her fitness journey and wants to encourage others to find what they love the most about fitness. There’s always an option for every fitness level, and Stephanie guides you through the options that you need to unleash your inner athlete!
