Ron J., Director of Athlete Performance

Former NFL player and York Catholic (football, basketball, track) & Shippensburg (football) graduate Ron Johnson shares his years of sports performance and conditioning knowledge with dedicated student-athletes as our Director of Performance.  Ron has trained and managed with some of the top sports performance facilities and coaches around Philadelphia and Baltimore, and was well coached in the weight room throughout college and professional football.  Ron has worked with some of the area’s best youth and collegiate athletes for several years now, and is the Owner/Director of Ron’s Rising Star’s Football Camp every summer at Shippensburg University.

Jeanean S., Director of Adult Performance

Jeanean has been involved in the fitness industry for over 20 years.  She was a Certified Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor, but took a brief 3 year hiatus from training as the owner of a successful Nutbutter manufacturing business. Now she is back in the fitness industry full time and in charge of our S3 Adult Performance Training program. Jeanean has a passion for encouraging adults to get out of their comfort zones and push past the things they thought they couldn't do. She makes modifications available for those that may need them. 

Mike C., Elite Trainer, Strength & Conditioning Coach

Mike is a graduate of Cumberland Valley High School and Bloomsburg University, where he played football for the Huskies.  Coach Cez is a nationally certified Fitness Trainer and Strength & Conditioning Coach. He earned his certifications through International Sports Science Association (ISSA) and International Youth Conditioning Association (IYCA). Coach Cez was the strength coach at Cumberland Valley HS the past 3 years and is now the Defensive Coordinator/Strength Coach at Central York HS. Mike’s passion for fitness comes from wanting to help others succeed on and off the field. Not only does Mike specialize in sports performance training, he also has in-depth knowledge of weight loss and nutrition.

Billy Y., RLASD Strength & Conditioning Coach

Billy is a graduate of Loyola Blakefield and Bloomsburg University, where he obtained his Exercise Science Degree.  Billy was a former Performance Director with another sports performance company and has vast experience working with student-athletes in middle school, high school, and college.  Billy currently serves as the S3 Head Strength & Conditioning Coach at Red Lion Area School District, working with over 500 student-athletes from 7th through 12th grade.  Billy is passionate about all sports, and has a personal athletic background in baseball.

Ryan H., Performance Coach

Ryan is a graduate of Pine Grove Area High School where he was a member of the 100-win club for the wrestling team and was also a First Team All-State selection at running back for football. He then went on to attend Lebanon Valley College where he completed a bachelor’s degree in Biology with a minor in Psychology, which included coursework involving anatomy, physiology, and nutrition. Currently, Ryan competes in power-lifting and has achieved professional status for totaling at least 1300 pounds while competing in the 165 pound weight class. Ryan’s training specialties include strength development, nutrition, and body weight management.

Caroll Z., Performance Coach

Caroll is a graduate of Eastern York High School where she played soccer, field hockey and was a sprinter and jumper for track and field. She attended and has collegiate soccer experience at York College of Pennsylvania. She has prior experience coaching youth athletes at PA Classics soccer club, Prestige Gymnastics and Spooky Nook Sports. Caroll is a Certified Personal Trainer with a Corrective Exercise Specialization. She is currently working on her Performance Enhancement Specialization. Caroll is also a fitness influencer for Generation Active, a health and wellness organization. Her passion for health and sport performance is derived from a background of multiple sports growing up and a solid understanding that competing as a smart athlete, you have to train as one.

Mac C., Performance Coach

Mac is a graduate of Dallastown Area High School where he was an All-State kicker for the Wildcats. He also played soccer with PA Classics in their Academy program. After high school, Mac went on to play division one soccer at Penn State. He graduated from Penn state with a degree in health policy administration. He currently is continuing his education to become an Orthopedic Surgeon. He spent this past season as a coach for Division 1 Bowling Green University's soccer team.

Alaina C., Performance Coach

Alaina is a graduate from Dallastown Area High School and Kutztown University of PA, where she played collegiate soccer and was honored with a NSCAA All-America accolade. She will be graduating from Widener University in May 2020 with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT). Alaina also has prior experience coaching many youth athletes at Maplezone Sports Institute located in Garnet Valley, PA. She is currently pursuing her NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) certification. Alaina's ultimate goal is to bridge the gap between rehabilitation and strength and conditioning, in order to help all athletes reach their peak performance.

Jared W., Performance Coach

Jared is a recent graduate of York College of Pennsylvania where he was a 3 year captain for the Spartans and finished his senior season by being named a Division 3 All-American. He is a graduate of Central York High School where he played basketball and soccer for the panthers. He has been a coach in our Summer Performance Camps for the past 2 years and joined our staff in the spring as an intern while completing his undergraduate degree in Sports Managment. Jared has worked with local AAU program the 'York Ballers' over the past 4 years and has been a volunteer assistant with Eastern York High School's boys varsity basketball program in each of the past two seasons. Jared is now a Men's Basketball Graduate Assistant at Hood College located in Frederick, Maryland where he will be completing his masters in Interdisciplinary Studies of Human Behavior.

Nicole E., APT Coach

Nicole has been a health and physical education teacher at Central York High School for over 20 years. She has earned a Master's degree in Exercise Science and Health Promotion from California University of PA. Nicole is a NASM certified personal trainer and has also been a group fitness instructor for the past 16 years. In addition, she is a 200 hour registered Yoga teacher. Nicole loves sharing her passion for fitness and wellness by creating a fun filled but challenging class atmosphere for all abilities, from the beginner to the seasoned gym rat.

Steph S., APT Coach

After making a lifestyle change in 2015 and losing 60lbs, Stephanie fell in love with fitness and
has been working in the fitness industry for 5 years now, being a Group Fitness Manager for the last 4 years. She has worked in performance training with adults, children, large groups, small groups and one on one. She has achieved the title of Advanced Instructor in several programs in group fitness, and she has even competed in body building competitions as a bikini competitor. Stephanie loves growing her knowledge of fitness by attending workshops, seminars and training with other coaches. She has been through it all on her fitness journey and wants to encourage others to find what they love the most about fitness. There’s always an option for every fitness level, and Stephanie guides you through the options that you need to unleash your inner athlete!

Chase J., Performance Coach

Chase is a graduate of West York High school where he was a two time PIAA state champion with the Bulldogs in baseball. Chase went on to attend East Stroudsburg University where he continued his baseball career.
